Privacy policy

Information you give us. When you use the contact form you provide your name, email address and a message, and optionally your company, phone number, the service you are interested in and a preferred time for a discovery call. Existing clients who email the support mailbox provide whatever they include in that email.

Information collected with a submission. When the form is sent, we record the IP address and browser identifier of the request and the result of the bot check. These are stored with the submission and used only to detect abuse and keep the form working.

Information collected automatically. This site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics scripts that identify you. Your theme choice and scroll positions are kept in your own browser and never sent to us. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived request logs for security and performance.

To respond to your enquiry, prepare for and hold a discovery call you booked, open a support ticket for an existing client, and keep a record of our correspondence.

To send transactional email about your enquiry: a confirmation, a calendar invitation and reminders for a booked call, and a notice if that call is moved or cancelled. We do not add you to a marketing list or send newsletters.

To protect the site and the form against automated abuse, using rate limits and a bot check.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf and only as needed to run the site:

• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, stores form submissions, delivers our transactional email and runs the Turnstile bot check on the form. Turnstile may examine browser and device signals to tell people from bots; it does not read what you type.
• Google LLC provides the fonts this site uses, so your browser requests them from Google's servers, and Google Workspace holds our calendar and email. If you book a call, a calendar invitation with a Google Meet link is created in our calendar and sent to the email address you gave.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Contact form submissions and booking records are kept for up to two years after our last contact with you, or for as long as you remain a client and for the period our records obligations require after that. Request logs kept by our hosting provider expire on their own schedule, typically within days.

Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored with providers that encrypt it at rest. Access is limited to the people who handle enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we apply the same controls we recommend to clients.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Write to the address below and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the rights to know, delete and correct personal information and to be free from discrimination for exercising them, to the extent the law applies to us. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law.

This site is intended for organizations in the United States. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

When we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Significant changes will be noted at the top of the page.
